User roles
In Qstream, users can be assigned to a role, and the functions listed on their dashboards are determined by their roles. All users must be registered to the Qstream company.
Participant: Participates in Qstreams. Participants can receive and answer questions, view Qstream progress on their Dashboard, view all previous Qstreams they have been enrolled in, and edit their Profile settings. They can access everything under the “Participant” section. All other roles also include the “Participant” role.
Manager: Users who have Direct Reports listed in the system, and who do not have another role other than Participant, will be automatically assigned the ‘Manager’ role. Managers can access their Direct Reports (Frontline Manager) reporting dashboard.
Reporting Manager: Views Settings and Insights for assigned Qstreams, including enrolled participants, spaced learning settings, reviewing questions included in a Qstream and viewing and responding to comments on their assigned Qstreams. Reporting Managers can view, but not edit, everything relating to their assigned Qstreams in the “Program” section.
Author: Creates and manages content. Authors can create Questions, organise sets of questions into Decks for use in one or multiple Qstreams, and assign Topics to Questions for robust learning analytics. Authors can access everything in the “Library” section of the Menu.
Program Manager: Creates and manages Qstreams, including enrolling participants, defining spaced learning settings and reviewing questions included in a Qstream. Program Managers can access everything in the “Program” section.
PM Author: Combines the permissions of ‘Program Manager’ and ‘Author’ roles above.
Admin: Manages company details, onboards and manages users and manages user groups. Admins can access everything in the “Admin” section of the Menu.
Company Owner: A Company Owner’s access includes all of the Admin, Program Manager and Author access detailed above.
Allow-list information
As part of the Qstream service, participants are likely to receive emails on an ongoing basis while they use the platform. Qstream follows numerous best email sending practices including the use of DKIM, SPF and dedicated server IP addresses to maximise deliverability. While in general, there should be no specific configuration needed, some inbound mail systems may be configured with aggressive filtering practices and so it would be prudent to advise your IT department of the expected volume and sending domain of these emails in case there is a need to add them to an allow-list.
The information below should be provided:
Sending domain: qstream.com
