Innovative Sales Performance Platform Takes Home 2015 Dot IE Net Visionary Award
DUBLIN, IRELAND (October 9, 2015) – Qstream, makers of mobile enterprise software for igniting high-performance sales teams, today announced that it has been named ‘Best Mobile Application’ by the Irish Internet Association (IIA). The selection was made through a rigorous process involving top judges and public vote, and announced this evening at the IIA’s 17th annual Dot IE Net Visionary Awards ceremony in the RDS Concert Hall.
In addition to naming Net Visionary Award winners across 15 software categories, the IIA’s inaugural Hall of Fame recognized ten visionaries whose contributions to the Irish technology community over the last two decades have established Ireland’s reputation as a global leader.
“The categories are reviewed each year by the IIA and reflect a real understanding for the changing nature of the technology industry and the innovation it has brought to a variety of industries, ” said Joan Mulvihill, CEO of the Irish Internet Association. “We wanted to show the pace and breadth of innovation across Irish industry and to show how technology is the catalyst for this.”
The ‘Best Mobile Application’ category recognizes the company that has designed and delivered a reliable, user friendly and “lovable app that customers can’t live without.”
By combining mobile, game mechanics and data analytics, Qstream co-founders, CEO Duncan Lennox, and CTO, Barry Paul, developed a powerfully simple way to build smarter, more confident sales teams based on scientific research originally conducted at Harvard, and applied it to the task of creating smarter, more capable sales teams at scale.
With Qstream, reps respond to short challenge scenarios pushed to any mobile device while competing against their peers to strengthen the sales skills that matter most. An onboard analytics engine synthesizes response data to provide managers with sales fluency indicators and real-time coaching actions. These are presented in graphical dashboards that provide insight into sales readiness that can impact the bottom line.
The SaaS platform is easily deployed in 15 languages in mobile, tablet and desktop environments and accessed via Web mail or Qstream native apps for iOS, Android and Windows. Qstream can also be integrated with third-party apps such as Salesforce.com.
“It’s a wonderful accolade to be recognized by our peers in Dublin’s tech community as being the ‘best of the best’, ” said Duncan Lennox. “We have worked diligently to attract and grow a team of mobile-savvy engineering talent who share Qstream’s entrepreneurial vision for next-generation sales performance solutions. Together with the commitment of our employees, partners and investors worldwide, Qstream has become a ‘game changer’ for forward-thinking sales management everywhere.”
